History

Eynesbury Station was purchased by John Baillieu in 1947 from the Staughton family. The property was run as a rural enterprise until 2500 acres were re-zoned to build the township of Eynesbury in 2001. The initial permit comprised of 5000 house lots, an 18-hole golf course and the restoration of the original bluestone homestead that was built in 1890. At this time, 135 acres were reserved by the Baillieu family for the development of the Eynesbury Polo Club.

EPC was established in 2006 and is now managed by Ruki Baillieu, Australia’s highest ranked polo professional.
